J.M.B :Question délicate... Quand et où as-tu rencontré George la première fois ?
E.G. : J'ai rencontré George par l'intermédiaire de son frère Kévin, avec lequel j'enregistrais quelques démos, il y a six ans de cela en Suisse.A son retour à Londres, Kévin a fait écouter le tout à George et voilà l'histoire...

J.M.B :Nous savons que tu parles plus de cinq langues, dont le français. Tu vis en Suisse et voyages souvent en Angleterre. N'es-tu pas lassée parfois ?
E.G. : Quand j'étais enfant, je ne restais jamais à la même place. A l'age de 11 ans, je voyageais déjà d'Afrique, en Angleterre, toute seule. La maison me manquait parfois et me faisait verser quelques larmes...mais, j'ai toujours été habituées ainsi. Après avoir vécu dans différents pays et déménagé plus d'une fois, je peux dire que la Suisse est ma terre d'accueil.

J.M.B :Le maxi de AMOS "only saw today", contient "zouk heaven", où l'on peut t'entendre clamer que "Le ciel peut attendre". Est-cela qui excitais George ? D'où vient l'idée ?
E.G.: Je n'ai malheureusement pas entendu ce remix, mais je me rappelle avoir enregistré "heaven has to wait" produit par AMOS et DEE, et j'ai enregistré ce morceau-là en même temps. Quant à GEORGE, il faudra lui demander si cela l'a excité ou pas ?
J.M.B :Crois-tu en une religion, en l'amour, en l'europe, bref....comment ressens-tu tout cela ?
E.G. : Je crois en la bonté humaine et je crois aussi que croire en quelque chose, ou en quelqu'un, est de la plus haute importance, un peu comme une satisfaction personnelle. L'amour est toujours plus fort que la haine. J'adore l'Europe. Toutes ces cultures qui vivent les unes à coté des autres, les unes avec les autres...c'est Géant !!! J'aimerais vivre en Italie durant certains mois de l'année. Leur façon de vivre reflète tellement mon mode de vie personnel....et j'aime cela.

J.M.B :Pour conclure, si tu avais la chance de partir un mois dans un coin perdu des Caraîbes, et habiter dans une grande maison luxueuse, qu'emmenerais-tu avec toi ?
E.G. : J'emmenerais Yves, mon petit ami, qui est aussi mon meilleur ami. Je prendrai aussi ma radio grandes ondes, car je suis une acco' de la BBC WORLD. Autrement, je serai en manque !!!

J.M.B :hello Eve. Many of ours don't know much about you. Could you tell us a little bit more about yourself ?
E.G. : I was born in Sunderland, Greant Britain and grew up in Nigeria, West Africa. I went  to schools in Africa,Switzerland and England. I later studied languages and drema,as well as English literature. My ambition was actually to become a Sheakpearean actress. I won the award for best Shakespeare performance at the age of 18. However, I went on to appear in musicals such as Hear, Oh Calcutta and Jesus Christ Superstar. I live in Zurich, Switzerland for about 15 years now.

J.M.B : The burning question. When and where did you first met George ?
E.G. : I met George through his brother Kevin, with whom I recorded a few demos about six years ago, here in Switzerland. On his retourn to England, he played the tapes to George. So here we are basically !

J.M.B :We know that you speak several languages, including French. You live in Switzerland ans spend some time in England. Aren't you lost sometimes ?
E.G. : As a child, I was never based for long in one place, at the age of 11, I was already flying from Africa to England on my own. Apart from the odd tears of homesickness, I didn't really know any other way of life. Now after all these years living in so many countries and constantly moing, I suppose one could call Zurich my home. A home is always important to go back to.

J.M.B :Amos "Only saw today / instant karma" contains a piece called "Zouk heaven". We can hear you saying 'le ciel doit attendre". Is that what excites George so much ? Where comes the idea from ?
E.G. : I haven't actually heard the dub that you mention as being on Amos' "Zouk heaven", although I remember recording if for a track of mine produced by Amos and Dee, called "Heaven has to Wait". As far as the message goes, you'd have to ask George whether or not excites him !!!

J.M.B :Do you believe in religion, love, Europe ? How do you feel about the all world ?
E.G. : I believed in the good people and also belief in something is parmount to a sort of personal fulfilment. Love is always strongers than hate. I love Europe, so many cultures bordering on one another. I would like to live in Italy for certain months of the years - the italian way of live mirrors mine in the way I like living.

J.M.B :Finally, if you had the chance so spend a month on the lost part of Barbados, staying in a huge luxury house, what or who would you take with you ?
E.G. : I'd definitely take my boyfriend Yves, he happens also to be my best friend. I also could not go without my short wave-radio. I am a BBC World Service addict !
